Weekend night market is held in every Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights from 6:30 pm to 12:00 pm. The market extends from Hang Dao stress to Hang Giay stress. It’s located in the Old Quarter. All the cars, motorbikes and bicycles are blocked. It’s a walking stress so people have to walk 3km to the end of the night market because traffics are not allowed. It can get very crowded at times.
On the Saturday evening, there are traditional performances such as Vietnamese folk music, cheo, xam, ca tru, … This is considered as a unique show of night market which attracts many tourists.
Night market with more than 4000 stores is a bustling place of purchase. The items are diverse. You can find almost every items: clothes, shoes, housewares items, handicrafts, souvenirs,… with affordable prices. In fact most customers are Vietnamese young people.
If you are hungry, don’t be worry. Hang Buom stress and Tong Duy Tan Stress sell only snack foods. You can enjoy so many Hanoi’s street foods just only in a stress.
